![]() ![]() ![]() It is amazing that I am able to grasp such a great understanding of what the author is trying to say by just looking at pictures. On the very last page of the book, we learn that this must be a frequent event among many different animals. Once late Tuesday morning rolls around, the frogs are forced to hop back to their lilly pads in the swamp. However, they leave behind evidence and an eye witness that cannot wrap his head around what he saw. While interpreting the pictures, it seems that this is not their first time venturing out of the swamp. They ride their lilly pads, fly with birds, pass by the window of a man having a late snack, watch television, and have the time of their life. On a typical Tuesday night, swamp frogs unite to go out in the town. Tuesday by David Wiesner says so much by using less than ten words in the entire book. ![]()
